How to Fix Missing Meta Description
What it is
A meta description is a one- or two-sentence summary of a page, placed in the page code. Search engines may show it under your title in results.
Why it matters
- It gives you some control over the summary people may see in search results.
- A clear summary can help visitors decide whether the page answers their question.
- Search engines may still choose their own text, so treat it as a helpful hint, not a guarantee.
How to fix it
- Write a plain summary of about 120–160 characters describing the page.
- Make it unique for each page.
- Enter it in your SEO settings or add the meta tag to your HTML head.
- Re-scan to confirm it is found.
